The Challenger Foundation
What does the Challenger Foundation do?
The Challenger Foundation works to bring professional, educational, and impactful soccer programs to underprivileged youth of all age groups.
These programs help to foster and promote healthy living habits at a young age, by engaging kids in regular physical activity, and involving local parents in coaching and support roles. Professional coaching, mentorship, and the involvement in team play through these programs would also foster development in life and social skills, communication, and responsibility.
In addition to health & developmental education, The Foundation also extends its mission to provide uniforms and equipment to the under-resourced soccer players of tomorrow, working with various partners across the globe. Its main partner here in its North American base is Challenger Sports.

Who is Challenger Sports?
Challenger Sports is the leading youth soccer camps, programs and services provider in North America.
Founded in 1985, the company has positively impacted more than one million children globally, and before the Challenger Foundation was officially established as its own entity, Challenger Sports was involved in fundraising campaigns of over $10 million, in addition to putting on hundreds of free coaching clinics for thousands of local volunteer coaches. Today, Challenger Sports continues to run summer camps for over 35,000 children across the US and Canada, and maintains an active and integral link with the Challenger Foundation.
About our relationship
Why does the Challenger Foundation work with Challenger Sports?
With an extensive network of experts and volunteers, Challenger Sports is able to reach a multitude of demographics and communities in its attempt to help the Challenger Foundation continue its mission. As well as its on the field programming, Challenger Sports also accesses a database of over 300,000 families and soccer enthusiasts, whilst having an established social media presence. Lastly, Challenger Sports is one of the leaders in the coach, parent and player education space, both online and in person.
The Challenger Foundation is able to access this network and wide range of offerings to find a way for hundreds of children every year to engage with, experience and enjoy the wonderful game of soccer!
