Challenger Sports Invitational (CSI)
Overview
The Challenger Sports Invitational (CSI) on September 18-20, 2026 is the premier fall event in the Midwest! The tournament will be played at the $36 million SCHEELS Overland Park Soccer Complex in Overland Park, KS.
The Challenger Sports Invitational (CSI) will attract teams from all over Regions II & III and will cater to ALL levels of competitive and premier teams. Three distinct levels are offered (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and teams will be placed according to Regional, State and local league results.
Over 240 teams from all over the Midwest are expected to attend the tournament this year. If you are looking for GREAT competition, on a GREAT weekend, with GREAT referees, at the FINEST soccer facility in the Midwest – the CSI is the event for your team/club.

The Challenger Sports Invitational (CSI) is a stay-and-play event. All traveling teams must stay at one of the approved host hotels. Reservations must be made through HBC Event Services.

Challenger Sports has teamed up with HBC Event Services to offer discounted hotel accommodations for the Challenger Sports Invitational (CSI).

This is a STAY-TO-PLAY TOURNAMENT – All non-commuting teams participating in the tournament MUST book through HBC Event Services. Please do not call the hotels directly. We appreciate your support as these partnered hotels assist in sponsoring our event.

Finally, you have the ability to purchase a Travel Protection Plan with up to 100% reimbursement for non-refundable trip costs for covered cancellations reasons as well as a Cancel for Any Reason benefit of 75% coverage of your unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for travel arrangements you paid for your trip, including the event registration costs.
