Darren Laver
Darren Laver has a diverse soccer background, with experience as a player, coach educator, and elite street soccer player, collaborating with renowned organizations and clubs like Bradford city FC, Manchester United Football Foundation, UEFA, Nashville Soccer Club (MLS), to name a few.
He's known for his work with Danish International soccer player Brian Laudrup, leading soccer development, education and events across Denmark, and is the creator of initiatives like Creative Skill Camps and The Virtual DOC. Laver authored "Street Soccer: The Coaches' Guide" in 2016, is a prolific contributor to the United Soccer Coaches Journal. Darren is one of the top 24 star players worldwide featured in the EA Sports FIFA Street (2012) video game.
Laver is a certified professional with expertise in various fields, including NLP, SAQ training, Alexander Technique, and coaching, holding licenses from the English FA, US Soccer. Darren is actively pursuing a PhD at the University of Derby, concentrating on coaching in 'Transfer, Skill Acquisition, and Skill Deployment
Christian DeVries
Christian DeVries was named the Men’s Soccer Head Coach for PVCC in January 2018 and the Women's Head Coach in February of 2020. DeVries has made a career of coaching having served at the NCAA II, NCAA III and NAIA levels with stops at: Spring Hill College (Mobile, AL), University of Minnesota, Morris (Morris, MN), Missouri Valley College (Marshall, MO) and Adams State College (Alamosa, CO).
Along with his coaching duties Christian is the CEO of Complete Player Pathway. His lectures help to transform organizations, teams, and individuals with robust leadership training through interactive workshops, thought provoking seminars, dynamic keynote speaking and innovative learning communities. Many recruitment programs still claim identification is the sure-fire way to get recruited for college soccer.
