“Most recently, we held six camps in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The kids really enjoyed (and appreciated) the new BSC tees and they seemed to fit perfectly! Passing a couple teaser pictures along now, as well as full access to a hundred more here. Feel free to use the photos however you would like as we did receive permission to publish them. Just please don't delete anything from the drive.

Thank you, and thanks for giving them a Christmas to remember!”

“Just sending over another little update following a few programs last week in Mexico. We've never held our free training sessions in Tijuana ever before, so I decided to make things a little extra special by having Connie Caliz from Xolos Femenil (and formerly, the U20 Mexican National Team).

The kids from the orphanage really enjoyed her presence as they each left with their own new soccer balls complete with Connie's autograph. The second session was at another children's home in East TJ. The kids enjoyed all the different parts of the session, and especially appreciated using their new soccer balls to practice some freestyle tricks and ball control skills once the class had wrapped up. All photos from that second session can be found here, though we're limited to sharing media without the children's faces since they come from circumstances of abuse & abandonment.”

“We were partnered up with another familiar beneficiary by the name of Ciudad de los Ninos in San Juan de Miraflores, a group I last worked with back in June of this same year. Having worked with the younger kids then, I switched it up this time around - running four sessions with a little over 60 boys aged 13-17. It was fun to lead them through different activities & games, and it was a treat to witness their (already) high skill level within the game. Certainly made things easier for me! We ended up doing some games like crossbar challenges and other small exercises to find some winners to receive Puma soccer balls - but every boy did leave with a prize whether a ball, drawstring bag, or t-shirt.”

“A brief update, but as always, a fun one. Thanks as always to you and the Challenger folks for helping us do what we do!”

“Been a bit since the last update, but just wanted to let you know that I just returned back stateside from about two months in the Philippines, where I ran six sessions with children's homes & street children centers. Surprisingly, I had nearly two dozen BSC balls in storage, from I think 2018, along with a couple tee-shirts & jerseys. I was able to give those out at an orphanage just last week on February 13th.”

For identity protection purposes, photo sharing from the orphanage is limited.

“Hope things are going well here in the new year! Just passing over an update from some free programs during the past two weeks held in Asuncion, Paraguay. The kids loved the BSC shirts! Passing over a Google Drive link with them in the shirt here. Appreciate you and the team. Dan!”

Conakry, Guinea

May 2025

“Just wanted to drop a quick update after a run of Guinea-based sessions last week in Conakry. Luckily, I had an old stock of larger BSC & SPC tees that I was able to dig out of storage to give to the high school aged students participating in our programs. They definitely enjoyed themselves and plenty of joy was had by all.

Thanks to you guys for rounding out that joy with our program giveaways! Always, always, always appreciative of what Challenger has done for us”.
