New Leadership, Sharper Focus: Challenger Sports Strengthens Its Commitment to the Big Three in a World Cup Year
Change can be a powerful thing — especially when it brings fresh focus and renewed energy. At Challenger Sports, recent leadership changes have sparked just that: a clearer vision, a more streamlined strategy, and a commitment to doing what we do best.
As we look ahead to the excitement of a World Cup year and an unprecedented wave of soccer growth across North America, we’re focusing our energy where it matters most. That means putting the spotlight squarely on what we call our Big Three offerings: Camps, Club Trainers, and TinyTykes.
In the past, we’ve offered a wide range of programs — but like many growing organizations, we’ve learned that true strength comes from focus. By concentrating on these three core offerings, we can deliver a more connected development pathway for players and a more dependable, high-quality experience for our host organizations.
1. Camps — Proactivity Is Crucial!
Our summer and year-round Camps remain at the heart of the Challenger Sports experience. For most players, this is where the journey begins — building core skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game.
Our Foundational Skills Camps continue to be the cornerstone, while select markets also host Creative Skills Camps to spark imagination and flair. Together, they strike the perfect balance between structure and creativity.
📅 Act now: Summer Camps for 2026 are opening this month for early registration, and our schedule is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If your organization wants to host a camp, don’t delay — the most popular weeks go quickly, and early sign-ups secure access to top coaches and preferred dates.
Our end-of-summer surveys tell us the same story every year from families who didn’t attend:
“We didn’t hear about the camp in time,” or “We’d already planned other activities that week.”
That’s one of the biggest reasons communities miss out. Setting up early ensures your dates are locked in, your marketing starts sooner, and families have time to plan around your camp — not the other way around.

2. Club Trainers — Recruitment Is Gathering Momentum
Our Club Trainers program brings professionally trained, experienced coaches into your club or organization to provide consistent player development, curriculum delivery, and mentorship for local coaches.
Our full-time recruitment team is already placing staff for the coming seasons, securing qualified trainers now for host clubs that have signed up early.
⚽ Don’t wait until you need them — plan ahead. Even if your trainer won’t start immediately, confirming your participation early ensures the best coach match and preferred start date. Like our camps, trainer placements are first-come, first-served, and early planning keeps your club ahead of the game.

3. TinyTykes — Early Signs of Growth
For our youngest players (ages 2–5), TinyTykes introduces soccer through fun, movement, and imagination — setting the stage for a lifelong love of the game. Families love the engaging, play-based sessions, and clubs benefit from connecting with local families who often continue through camps and club play as their children grow.
After a few challenging years in the youth sports landscape, we’re thrilled to see strong early signs of regrowth. Interest is climbing fast, and many communities are expanding their TinyTykes programs. Depending on your climate or indoor availability, some areas will start these programs as early as mid- January. For some preschools, it has become a weekly class already that their parents and kids relish.
👶 As with our Trainers program, placement is first-come, first-served. So if your organization is considering re-launching TinyTykes or adding new sessions, now is the time to reserve your spot before scheduling fills up.

How the Big Three Work Together
Each of these options — Camps, Club Trainers, and TinyTykes — stands strong on its own. But together, they form a powerful developmental pathway:
- TinyTykes introduces children to soccer through fun and movement.
- Camps build skills, confidence, and enthusiasm during the summer months.
- Club Trainers extend that learning year-round within your club environment.
This integrated model helps host organizations attract families early, retain players longer, and create stronger, more vibrant soccer communities.
And in a World Cup year, when excitement and participation soar, this alignment becomes even more valuable. More interest means more players, more registrations, and more opportunities for community connection — and with Challenger Sports as your partner, you’ll be ready to capture that momentum. As we like to say, we can ignite the passion.
