PARENTS AND HOST FAMILY QUOTES
FLORIDA
I wanted thank Challenger Sports and the coaches my daughter , Andrea Casanova, met in Loxahatchee Florida. She had the opportunity to work with Coaches Cammie, Symon and Glen. All of these young men were AMAZING. My daughter Andrea had attended your camp last year as well but by far the coaches she worked with this time brought out talent in her that was untapped. She has an equally amazing soccer coach for her travel team. We can’t wait to show him her new skills and confidence. I have recently sent emails to find out if these coaches will be at any of the upcoming West Palm Beach camps so that I may register her. She is looking forward to continuing her training with your coaches. Thanks again to your coaches. On Andreas words, THEY ROCK!

I want to tell you how much my children and other kids enjoyed the camp. They came home excited everyday telling us what they did and learned. Your staff really did a fantastic job with all the kids. I heard only praises on how other parents talked on how the kids were learning and enjoying camp. I hope Munster Parks will hold again next summer. The other reason I am writing is about Dan Finnigan, Director. Your organization should be proud to have a professional, responsible, hard working, trust worthy young man and shares a love for soccer and most important love for kids. When we decided to be house parents we were not sure what to expect. We were nervous and having a stranger in our home for the 1st time was nerve racking. After sitting down with him the 1st day at supper he was like family. We had a blast with Dan and learned about the English culture and he learned about ours. Today, we had to say good-bye and believe me the kids, my wife and I felt we lost a family member and cried after he drove off. I explained, to my kids that I as a soccer player never had chance to have someone from another country at my house. I told the kids as Dan left that we made a forever friend and that we would keep in touch and one day go and see him. Once again thank you and please share. Sincerely yours, Tony, Stacia, Austin, Addy & Anna

We just wanted to write to you regarding the Challenger Camp held in Houma, La last week. Our son, Hayden, attended and had a phenomenal time. All of the coaches (Mark S, Tom, Al, Eddie, Jenny, Colin, Luke, Mark F) did an exceptional job and interacted with the kids wonderfully. You could see that the coaches have a passion for what they are doing with the kids and it reflects in the kids' performance throughout the camp. The way they approached the kids was spot on, making everything done throughout the week both educational and fun. David did an outstanding job running things, even looking after Hayden, who is severely allergic to peanuts. Hayden was so excited to see his coaches in a "real" soccer match on the Saturday following the camp. He even went to the field afterward to shake hands one last time with the coaches and tell them good game. It is an experience that he will cherish for a lifetime. Hopefully, the camp will head this way again next summer. Thank you again for putting together a great group of coaches to host the camp and please pass along a job well done to them. Thank you, Harry
My daughter participated in the first camp. This was actually her first experience with any soccer camp, and she is extremely shy, so we were afraid it might not be a good experience for her. We were pleasantly surprised! All of the coaches were OUTSTANDING in their interactions with both parents and campers (and of course their skills were amazing). They had so much energy and were very personable. We were really impressed, and although she needed time to warm up, by the second day, our daughter really loved camp. We had such a great overall experience that we plan for our daughter to attend next summer, and we hope to host a coach. Thanks so much for a great experience; we have been spreading the word to other families whose kids play soccer. Thanks again, Donya

I would like to say thank you on behalf of myself, my wife and especially my son (H.J.) for Steve (the camp instructor for the Garver YMCA in Roaring Spring, PA) who did an excellent job at the camp. The week was filled with a few adversities with the bad weather, but Steve made adjustments and everything was great. I spoke with one of the other campers Mothers, and she also said how great this was. We both remarked our only regret is that the camp did not last longer. I believe all of the campers thoroughly enjoyed the program. I attended several of the sessions, and being a former SCUBA instructor, I was amazed as to how well Steve related to the campers and had everyone participating. I believe Steve is an excellent example of what you are striving for in your program. I hope that he will be able to return again next year to this area.

I just wanted to send along my thanks to the Challenger team who led the British Soccer camp here in Pelham, NH this week (6/23 - 6/6/27). I have 2 sons, Josh age 5 and Ben age 8, who greatly enjoyed the program and their coaches (Dan and Ross). Unfortunately, my older son misses 2 days due to illness, but Coach Ross did a great job making him feel like he never missed a day when he returned. The "World Cup" was his favorite event. My younger son had so much fun learning new skills and playing games. The coaches were professional and entertaining, and they really made the whole program come to life. The coaches displayed such pride in their work. The kids were thrilled to see their feedback at the end of the program. We are looking forward to another fun program next year! Regards, Suzanne

Just wanted to let you know that my children attended the British Soccer Camp at Andrews AFB, Maryland this week. The camp ended today. It was great! The coaches were fantastic and my children had a super time! What a neat program this is. This was my son's 3rd year doing the British Soccer Camp and my daughter's 1st year. Thanks, Susan
CALIFORNIA
We had camp June 16-20 in Auburn. My son just turned 4 and was in First Kicks with Coach Paul and Coach Jack. I just had to tell you how wonderful they were with these little kids. They were a crack up! The parents and kids just loved them! My son was always so excited when they paid such one on one attention to them! We also did camp last year and had a couple of terrific coaches also but I never sent an email about them and forget their names. Both years have been amazing and we will be back next year for sure!
I am sending a couple of pictures of the kids with there fantastic, funny, goofy coaches! Please forward this to whoever is in charge and they can get credit for the amazing work they are doing with these little boys and girls! Thank You, Michaela

I have received numerous positive comments from parents and kids on the coaching this year. Simon and Stephen were absolutely fantastic!! They were very professional, communicated well with kids, kept a large range of ages happy, and always had a good sense of humor. They imparted the importance of leadership, and sportsmanship as well as giving them new soccer skills. I am still getting stopped in the grocery store by parents telling me how much fun their kid had at camp and how much they liked the coaches. I have not had this happen in the past. Not to say the past coaches were not good, on the contrary. I just didn't get the amount of positive feedback that I am getting this time. The host families also really enjoyed having them and said they would gladly welcome them in their homes again. It was a great experience for them. I think the coaches had a bit of fun too, except for the sunburn. Regards, Tamera
